Build Connections at FUMCA

Crowell Chapel designed by Gregor Goethals

Connection is an integral part of the United Methodist faith. The Bible tells us that we are not meant to go through life alone, and church is a great place to find support and friendship. We strive to help make connections at every level of the church. Take a look at ways for you to get involved in the life of the church to build relationships with peers as well as develop a deeper connection to Jesus through your faith.

Upcoming Events

The Gathering on Wednesdays

Each Wednesday, we gather to share a meal and conversation with others before going to various Wednesday night activities. Leave the dishes to us and enjoy time to unwind with others, participate in music activities, Bible study, or simply to enjoy fellowship.

Our Wednesday night schedule includes activities for children of all ages, youth, and adults.

Music Ministry

The music program at FUMCA is a worship-focused ministry. We believe that good musicianship makes a real difference in people’s worship. We know that as we improve musically and allow God to lead us, our church will also thrive and be spirit-led.

All of our musical groups are friendly and would love to welcome you. From the true beginner, to the professional musician, you will find a home here where you can grow both spiritually and musically among friends.

Children's Ministry

Children are a gift from God, and we want every child, and his or her family members, to feel the love of God and sense of belonging to a community of faith. We believe that life is best shared in community. Through the presence of loving, skilled teachers and leaders, we make it a point to teach the stories of the Bible and the lessons of faith.

Children have several times to gather on Sundays and Wednesdays to build their connections among each other and deepen their understanding of their faith.

Youth Ministry

We’ve all experienced trying to find our place in this world, trying to find our place within ourselves. We hope, and work really hard, to ensure that teenagers have a home here. A home where they can be themselves and discover all that God has in store for them, a home that knows life has its up and downs but strives to be a stable presence to come in good times and in bad.

Along the way, we look for them to learn about God, themselves, to love and serve others and to love themselves, while being intentional followers of Christ and having a little fun along the way.

Adult Ministry

Our adult ministries are focused on helping adults connect and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. We focus on creating small group environments so that adults can delve into studying and understanding their faith together and develop deeper relationships with one another.

We strive to provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of life with communities of support that offer opportunities to grow in faith through Sunday School, Bible study, service and fellowship.
